Thought this was pretty neat... as I’m going thru this roll of quarters I’m noticing some changes in the reverse. At first there were no die chips, then a tiny one, then bigger and bigger until back to none. The zoomed in shots are of 3 separate coins and show that progression. I pulled about 10 with the chips out of the roll! I’m sure this is totally normal I’d just never seen a chip form over several coins in a row like this before. Also thought the marks around the treetops and elsewhere on the coin looked cool!
The first coin in an interior die break progression should show a slight depression because the die break forms below the surface. Go back and examine the other coins to see if you can find one with this anomaly. Chris
