do you guys know when the next Countryside show is? I know they do it every 2nd weekend but it is not on www.coinshows.com so I am just wondering if something is up:kewl:
Ill. Coin shows may do what Ind. Coin Shows are doing. Show will either be the week after or before Mother's Day
Many coin show sites are missing many Illinois shows lately. Some fail to mention Itasca or Lemont. However, for many years now the Lemont, Countryside, Itasca coin shows have been on the 1st, 2nd and third Sundays of every month. And that is regardless of any holidays. In fact they are more crowded on those holidays. Guess that is where some people take their Mom or Dad on thier day. Anyone can take me on any holiday they want.
what happened to the Lemont show? I was there and it was a ghost town. Literally, not one person...did I miss something?
Not sure about what happened to the Lemont show. Probably ask at the Countryside show on the 11th of this month. Most of the dealers there are the same ones at Lemont and Itasca. There is one dealer that is at all those shows come rain, snow, wind, holidays, etc. He is in the Center, has about 3 or 4 tables and his name is Robert Griffitts or something like that. Check his table for his card. Since he is at all the coin shows in Illinois, you can always check with him about coin show calendars in this area.
