Happy Birthday, James. And congratulations on reaching your 2019 collecting goals - if you're only going to keep 20 coins, those are a lovely 20 to keep. I like how, on your site, you put that these 20 are to "fondle, admire, study and read about" - and that you put "fondle" first. I keep my collection scattered at home at work - if I can't play with 'em, I don't really want 'em. The tactile experience of collecting ancients is very important to me.

Anyway, in tribute to the Romans in Britain theme of your extensive research and collection, here is a rather pitted Geta with Britannia on the reverse:

Happy Birthday pal! I hope I can make it as long as you!

Also makes me wonder, are there any ancient 'birthday' issues?

Congratulations! That is a mighty achievement.

And a very nice listing of the coins. Will you keep that amount, of do you think of expending again?

I must extend a heartfelt “thank you” to all Forum participants who have posted birthday greetings and/or gracious commentary. I sincerely treasure all of them. My family and circle of close friends have planned some birthday celebrations for me today and I am afraid I will not be able to post responses to your commentaries in the way I would like - at least not today. So please do not be offended if I do not acknowledge your messages now - I will try and respond as best I can in the next few days.

@jamesicus, I'm late to this party, but Happy Birthday!!! :singing::singing::singing::cigar::happy:

Love your 20 coins, but that Charles I Half Crown does it for me - perfect amount of wear - exquisite! :singing:

Just this morning I noticed a 17 yr old poster. Wow! (Btw, I don't think I've ever seen you post in the "What's It Worth" forum,...congrats & thank you!) :D

Congratulations and happy 90th! Do you have any plans to keep your site online forever, or as close to forever as you can get?

Great coins! Hard to say which is my favorite, but I think the Charles II is especially nice.

I thank every Coin Talk participant who has taken the time to post greetings and commentaries in response to my own post - I will attempt to respond to the commentaries as much as possible.

Thank you @Orfew - Gus supervises all of my responses - of course, he occupies my nice, comfortable recliner - and I type sitting on a folding metal chair.
