    A really bad erroded copper cent..
    Not a mint error. Just PMD - Post Mint Damage :yack:

    Maybe acid dipped.. Or years and years of the Cent tumbling in rocks in a rocky beach. I find similar cents in my metal detecting hunts.

    No L on Liberty is a filled die, maybe grease filled. Common occurrence with no added value

    Looks acid etched, I also suspect it had its edge ground down as well before the acid soak. The reason is because the edge is uneven and the coin is not round.
