I was reading some confusing stuff and thought I'd ask here for some clarification. Is there really a large date and small date 1960 penny? If so its not an "error" right but rather a "variety"???? If they exist, is there any premium to either one???

Yes you are correct there is a large and small date for 1960 d/p cents. No preimum. Fun to find. Common. There are a lot of DDOS for that date. Fun to look for if your into it. Large date most common.

1960-P small date is a scarce find and holds a premium.

    ^^^^^^ Correct.
The 1960-D large date and small date, and 1960 Philly large date are 1 cent.
The 1960 Philly small date is a good coin.

And yes, @MatrixMP-9 - you are correct. These Large- and Small-date varieties are varieties, and not errors.
