Here are a few of the small size $2 LT notes from my collection. I know small sized notes don't have the same kind of WOW factor that the earlier notes do, but I love em. So close to current design and yet utterly foreign. Enjoy.
Very nice notes, especially the star notes. I think $2 red seal's are my favorite of the small sized notes. I really love their back.
Gee, DJ and I was hoping you'd send me your '28B star. You know I run an Island for misfit star notes.
i have a 1928B LTN star?? cool ... as for your island of misfit stars... i am sorry to inform you that is is within the confines of my island chain domain .. therefore it falls under my jurisdiction
Typically when I show my collection to folks the large size silver certs get some actual appreciation, but by the second small size deuce I see the eyes start to glaze over. I guess I finally found the right crowd.
Paper DOES tend to be more appreciated by paper people Niel. I have a friend that plays classical guitar and he'll start taling about his original yada, yada blah blah guitar he has. I appreciate his love of them but always have to remind him that what he is telling me is like me telling him about MS coins.
Back at ya Do you ever get to the Parsipanny, NJ Coin show? 1st Sunday each month. There're always at least 3-4 paper note guys there including Tom Surina, Carl Bombara Alex Delatola and others. I've gotten quite a few things from them.
