I try to hit a local car wash about once a week...the wash costs $3.00 and all the change is given in $1.00 bills so I usually pay with a $20.00 and get 17 ones back to peruse while going through the wash. I get many STAR notes, some cool serial#'s etc. Today I got a note with this serial#:
B00089317F. My question is: What is considered a low serial#?

It gets more interesting value wise when you get down to three digits. That said, you never know when you will end up with a number someone collects. Nice find.

i like to see at least 3 zeros ... but as USS656 mentioned ... 3 digits - non-zeros - is where folks really start to pay a premium ... the lower from there, the higher the bid can be (when compared to a note of equal condition or grade :))

4 zeros or more, I'd keep - depending on condition.

not bad .. 4 leading zeros ... cool  i know they arent worth much if anythign over face for it, but i get excited to see three leading zeros. I have some with four, but none with any more. I still keep them thouhg.. probably because i dont have any with 5 leading zeros :)

nice note! maybe that fold will come out ....
