I found this penny in some loose change and noticed alot of weird bumps around the edges on both front and back and wondered if they're errors?

Need photos but sounds like blisters in the copper plating.

Thanks Bobby. Kind of blurry but does appear to be some plating bubbles around "United States".

No! It's pretty common on crappy zincolns.

1985 is not a copper penny.

It's a spender. Still blurry photos. If you're using a cell phone take a photo from about 5 inches away with a steady hand. Then crop the photo to full-size and post. It looks like plating blisters which would be common on a zinc Cent. Welcome to CT.

Copper plated zinc cents started mid 1982. You have a cent with plating bubbles that occurred after it left the mint.
