I posted earlier about my start on a new box of these, solid date bank box. I finally finished the entire box last night and came up with a total of 286 of these doubled die WDDO-004 in B.U. condition. One of those things that got hidden behind other things like my guitar and amp, which I have not played in quite some time. I was very pleased. ( Yes paddyman, wrong forum, but no one much seems to go to the error forum ) They seem to go for around $4.00 each on ebay so I am offering by the roll at $2.00 each. Time will tell. 2015 P Lincoln Cent WDDO-004 2.jpg I am not offering them for sale here in any way. I'm just telling you what I am offering them for on ebay.

See, this is one of these where I really don't see any doubling. Is it the slightly light look at the bottom of the letters?

I don't see diddly squat either. Also, the OP found 286 of them and they are selling for $4!!! What is it about an invisible error that is fairly common, apparently, that demands such a premium?

Also, the OP's offer to sell for $2 a roll is against forum rules I think.

Yes, extra thickness and notching at the bottom of the letters.

I know what the rules are and am not offering them for sale here in any way, shape or form. I have never offered anything for sale here. A little touchy looking for fault? I don't even know if they will sell at that price point. It's just a feeler on ebay to see how it goes. Yes, it appears to be common at this point finding so many in one shot but if I can make a little extra income am I being some kind of monster? If they don't sell at that price point I will drop the price.

Please check Wexler's site. He describes this as notching. Remember, everything changed with the single squeeze method. The notching we grew up on is different these days.

I might add that I found 8 rolls of the 2009 P Professional Life Lincoln cent WDDR-030 in one box. To date no others have come up for sale and it was a "Discovery" of mine verified by Wexler. In one box that would seem to be common also, but after 10 years no one else seems to have found any and I been searching all over to find out if anyone else has discovered other examples. I know these type of errors are not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy them, finding them and adding a little extra income to my SS earnings.

This is all the more reason why I think this so-called doubling has been carried way too far. It's just a bunch of....

That looks like a worn die strike to me. Glad you could match it up. This is why I'm not a variety collector.
