I work for a bank, so I get to see a lot of coins everyday, lucky me. I try to buy all the Ike's I can find. This one guy comes in every so often asking for Ike's and said he just gives them to people at McDonalds and such... I was pretty disappointed to hear him say that, oh well. I'd like to find someone that gets denver mint coins. All the uncirc coins I see are philly mint since I'm on the east coast. Anyone up for trading?
i would love to be around coins all day. i also would love to be around lots of ike's. your job sounds so cool.
I always thought of the term "Baby dollars" as referring to the Sac dollars because, Duh, they have a baby on them.
well that would seem like the right term for baby coins. did you see the picture of the ike dollar with the canadian coin a little down in this thread? can you u guess which coin looks like a baby/smaller. all of our coins now are around the same size but compare to the ike. . . there are more awnsers to this question along this thread as well. hope u find the right answer. try post number 36, that should help.
Definitely dont have morgans or ikes. I know they have the presidental dollars and they might sacajaweas (no idea how to spell it) and sba's are even less likely but still a possiblility.
i would love more sba's. i would love a SACAGAWEA thats not a 2000 P or D. thats all i have. love one with a S mark.
Of course they do - they are proofs with a lower collector base, but a much, much lower mintage, and 99.9% of them are high grade strikes in uncirculated condition.
Unless one of these days someone finds one of the 2000 S business strikes they made when they were doing test runs in 1999.
The mint is selling these coins at face value including shipping, but you have to order $250 or $500 worth. https://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=14506&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=16238
