1862 Great Britain Farthing

    Ah. "Take our word for it; you don't need to see." Got it. Well, I can't argue an attribution when the data is withheld from the public; for all I know they're correct. Perhaps we'll revisit when they deign to publish.

    Did you notice the difference between our coins look at the rocks at the left of the lighthouse. Yours has the normal elongated one. Mine has 3 seperate rocks highly unusual.?

    1862Farthing8over8.JPG Just going thru a couple of online auction acquisitions and found what looks like the 8 over 8. See attached pic? Am I correct?

    That is the same coin as the OP put up obverse 3 reverse A . If you look close at his last picture he used to put on the so called experts forum page you can see on his both the 8 and 6 are double struck. Although yours seems to be double struck on all the digits.

    Looks like #5 , I have a 1875 h farthing I was thinking about selling how much do you think farthings are worth
