1922 US Peace Dollar

I am not really a coin collector, but in cleaning out some drawers I have come across a 1922 Us Peace Dollar. Any ideas as to its worth, if anything. Appears to be in OK condition. I can make out almost all of the lettering except for soem damage to the one on the reverse side of the coin.

By the sounds of it it's probably worth 15 - 20 bucks, But pictures would help alot

 

Regardless of it's collectible value, there's 13 or 14 dollars worth of silver in a Peace dollar. Too had to judge it's collectible value without pics.

 

This is the best I can do...pictures taken on phone camera which is all i have available. Not the best quality at all...

 

Looks like a circ, so about $13 to $14

 

worth its weight in silver, around 13-15 bucks depending on where spot is today.

 

People will probably be willing to pay around 15 dollars.

 

Hang onto it. There must be a story behind the coin and how it got there. Ask everyone in the house if they know where it came from. Of course, you also run the danger that someone else will claim it's theirs.
