these fanam coins are being reported as faje, they look good to me in terms of suze and weight. there are also some if similar design on auctions. opinions?
Something like that looks quite easy to "faje." If I were interested in these, I'd want to learn so much about them (read up on them) that I could come as close as possible to determining authenticity of such coins myself. Look up the Oriental Numismatic Society (ONS). They may have resources... Not sure about the "suze," though.
