how could this get out of the BEP like that? Could it be from an uncut currency set that someone took scissors to?
That is my thought as well. Probably an uncut set that was hacked up. Would be nice to be able to see the serial number.
My apologies to all, It was a difficult day for me and I just could not get it right for those of you that edited about how some of us live with health problems. So I'll give you this to have something to do today. For those that were helping I thank you for your time. The story on this bill I needed to change a $100.00 bill for 100 one dollar bills and that's how I got it . US.BANK
Quite harsh considering we don't know you or your issues (which we've all got). Besides, you asked about the FRN, nothing about your health, in a coin forum.
I have sympathy for people with health problems. That being said, I have no sympathy for you or your bill based on your attitude here. You posted crappy pictures with nothing explaining what you thought it was or anything. Just "GIVE ME A PRICE SO I CAN MAKE MONEY!" attitude. Then when people called you on the garbage pictures you came back with the attitude and sob story. I for one, am done with you.
The BEP hasn't disclosed which serial #s were used for sheets of series 2013 (https://uspapermoney.info/general/uncut.html) Given the folded up note doesn't fit in the space of a single note, I can't see how this is a cutting error. Leaves only a previously unrecorded sheet. PS: photos are still bad and putting a cent over the corner has me wondering what is being hidden. I'm out...
also considering banks prefer to use money counting machines to create stacks and count I can't see how most banks would let this continue on untouched. They'd at least use scissors to make it able to go through a counter, ATM, fit in the till, etc.
I agree with Clawcoins. No way that would have made it through a counting machine and if the bundle was hand counted, the bill would have been pulled and sent to be destroyed. Something just isn't adding up.
