UM lets hazard a wild guess here, I would say the person is looking through a bag of Unreserched coins LOL Yes I agree some people realy should hire proof readers before listing a auction LOL
I want to know who all these old codgers are who have bags and bags of wheat cents just laying around the house, just waiting for them to pop off or go bankrupt so they can be sold along with the rest of their estate.
OH - NO another ebay thread. She performing a sample so the they can estimate the percentage by date range - hold the phone - isn't that searching? Oh well.
How contradicting, they state that their bags of wheat cents are "unsearched" yet they provide a photo of a person searching a bag of coins. Should we believe them......uh....NO!!
If you read the whole thing, they state in the description that they just tore open another bag to go through. They're admitting they're going through 'some bags' but saying they are selling unsearched bags. Now, should people trust them? Who knows? I just bought a supposedly very old roll of buffalo nickels and I'm hoping it wasn't just an old wrapper that somebody used to package up a bunch of no-dates last week. The risk you take. On second thought, the line where he says "just count (kinda)"...what's that supposed to mean? When there's a chance to get a highly sought after coin worth over a grand, I highly doubt they aren't going through all the bags with a fine toothed comb. I wouldn't buy one.
there is no thing as an unsearched bag - if so, they would have no idea what it contained - how do they know it's Wheat cents? -Steve
