@Flyd 45 - I moved your posts because you inexplicably posted them in someone else's 12-year-old thread that had absolutely nothing to do with currency or star notes.

They were reported as spam but since you did not specifically mention them for sale, I let them stand.

None of these photos are stars, and the circulated condition and random serial numbers value them at $1 each. Enjoy spending them.

Ha! I didn't even notice that, because I wasn't paying attention to the pictures.

Yep. What he said- spend 'em.

    Spenders.

    No special S/N's.
All well circulated with lots of condition issues.

You have one 'close' S/N. The problem is, 'close' only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Welcome to CT. Count the number of bills you have and that's what they are worth. In collecting currency, condition, condition, condition, is the key. None of your notes are unique, other than the star notes were replacement bills for damaged sheets, and none are in particularly good condition. Read more factual books to learn about the printing process and stay away from YouTube videos.

Or four individual bills. Four unique pix, all of the front of the bill.

Yet 16 pix are posted when four would have conveyed the exact same information.

Circulated condition, folds, creases etc. Modern star notes, $1 each.
If they cost you $1 each, why would you expect to get more than that?
They either have to be rare, old, fancy serial number or super crisp. They meet none of these criteria to me. Oh, I suppose there are star note collectors that might take them for slightly above face value, but to me they are worth $1 each.

Sorry to report, nothing here to write home about, even though most are
*STARS* , but just being a *STAR* doesnt make a instant trip to the bank
..LOL, plus all have major condition issues so no premiums.

I'm really not quite sure why a star note is important, other than be a replacement of a damaged note. Also, I wonder why a serial number with 3 numbers in a row are important as well. I'm not sure what the odds are to get one but I'm sure they are not too rare. What I like to collect are bills with sequential serial numbers. Recently, I cashed a check for $500 for my wife's operating budget and I got 4 $100's , 3 $20's, 2 $10's , 2 $5's, and 10 $1's each set in sequential order. (Hint: The head teller is a good friend of my wife and I asked her if she could and she told me to call her a day ahead and she would have it ready. I was blown away. She told me she couldn't do it again unless they were all in one denomination. But I love sequential currency. I have 10 - 10 pesos bills in pristine condition that I got when I lived in Uruguay in 1967. I'll send some pictures when I can. Thanks all!

In the first series of notes that you posted none of those are star notes. They're all worth a dollar apiece. In the second series, the notes you posted are star notes but there's nothing special there either. No fancy serial numbers, no short runs, nothing of interest to a paper bill collector. Welcome to CT.
