Everyone, I have read about fancy serial numbers and keep my eyes open on my change and have collected a few over the last year. With that being said I really am not that interested in collecting paper and not sure on the market and values. I was hoping I could get everyone's opinion on the bills that I have come across. All of these notes have been pulled from circulation and none would appear to be mint condition. Thanks in advance for all of your help! Swerths
You have some radars and repeaters. Everything else is interesting. Good to see you have them in sleeves. Nice circulation finds for sure. These are all common offerings on eBay. You can check there for prices realized.
00000270 - low serial number 56555655 - Repeater 33119966 - Quad Double 09190919 - Repeater 36873687 - Repeater 64944946 - Radar 80733708 - Radar 11161998* - Birthday serial # 11/16/1998 Nice finds!
You have some fancy notes there, however with paper money, condition is everything. Every bill shows signs of circulation wear. Folds, ink marks, etc, all lower the value.
I'm not sure if the 4 pairs (quad double) qualifies. 2 sets of 4 numbers does. eg. 22224444 Nice finds from circulation.
Well, they're all nice catches, but unfortunately they suffer from the "condition" problem, so will not command much premium. But here again, we're talking about something "in the eye of the beholder". For example, someone will be willing to pay something for the 1st note, a $1 low SN. Not me, as I already have one lower, in better condition. But someone will...but you already own it & it's cool! With $1 notes, if you like them (read: if they are attractive to you) then keep them, they're always great to look at (also consider all the less observant hands they went through before you astutely noticed them) & they didn't cost much. Now, when it comes to the $10 & above notes, you should be more critical in your judgement, since you will have more cash locked up should you keep them. Except for the very high end (read: paper quality), notes such as those you posted will not command a significant premium, so you should only keep what you like & spend or trade the others. JMHO
Like the fancies but unfortunately they all have some condition concerns As most do when circulated, would say all would have a minimum value over Face.
Nice finds! You may be able to sell the top low serial number note for $15-$20 Here's a 3 digit serial $1 that sold on ebay for $25: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-One-1...063147?hash=item3d8bb77ceb:g:3qQAAOSwSWhc6Z6A
The note listed is in much better condition, then the Op,s and that ink mark Doesn,t it do it any favors either, the heavy center fold and what looks like a small tear, this note would in my opinion be a filler at best and unless The buyer would be collecting this exact note i would say no premium ! Just to many Issues.
very nice notes and if anyone wants to purchase them put a reasonable price on it and see if they say yes.
