Feel free to also guess the final price (it sold today via auction).

MS 66–$200. Very nice coin. Great surfaces.

I think these pics are over saturated with light to hide something/things.
If not could go 67. As you didn't post slab/other pics, methinks the former.

Edit: did the description read ....

I can't tell if it's hit anywhere, it doesn't look like it in these pics. I'll say a technical MS66. I'd be wanting more for the money, though, it's just too pretty.

    Fortunately no. :D
It was a Great Collections auction and they have standard titles/descriptions.

Also, last call before the reveal....

Sorry, but you photo is over exposed and too bright to tell much of anything about the coin. I'd say that it's bright and Mint State, but beyound that, it's just a guess.

It's not my photo. I used the photo from the auction house (Great Collections).
All of their photos are fairly consistent (at least in my opinion).

The grade on the holder is MS 65.
I thought it looked like a 66/66+ and the final price seemed to reflect that ($258.75).
I've been looking for a clean 65 so this one appealed to me. However, I decided the price was a bit high (since 66s are going for under $200 lately and 66+ examples have sold for around the same price). Also, the color around the rims isn't my favorite (I'd prefer blast white or something more colorful). Still I believe the buyer will enjoy the coin. And if someone cracks it and receives a 67, then it will be a win (as would a Gold CAC sticker).

I'm sure it would upgrade now. At least a point.

I think 66 is a real possibility. However, that would likely result in a lower price. A new holder 66 would be seen as the right grade or maxed out. Meanwhile the older holder with the lower grade adds more intrigue and allure.

If I had won this coin, I would not have cracked it or resubmitted it.

I thought 65 before the reveal. I do think it could upgrade but me I’d send to cac. I like it. If it wasn’t an 80-s I’d have said higher

I went 66 with my guess. It is very close, either way. Bill is right—send it for the bean, instead of an upgrade, as 80s and 81s are brutally tough graded by both PCGS and NGC.

I think MS66+ and MS67 are a possibility, If I owned it, I would definitely crack it and resubmit.
