You’re right, late date uncirculated coins are reasonable . . . for uncirculated coins. I suspect that’s exactly the reason that DD2 is working on a set of mid-circulated-grade coins . . . He can derive greater satisfaction from realistically completing the entire set in a lesser grade, while not dropping down to G / VG which poses far fewer challenges.
I saw that too. It's a decent idea for sight unseen purchases, but likely not that necessary (and I doubt it will gain much traction in the overall coin market).
Well, I was pleasantly surprised. A couple of years ago, in Dallas, I reported a thin opening during the show and many, many more people lined up for a Zombie convention. I also noted several people around me with wristbands indicating that they were general public.
