my first seated dime

    With Arrows no less. That's a good way to start.

    I'd call it a 12. Nice coin.

    Well, yeah. I was just commenting that your "first seated dime" is the "With Arrows" variety. Only a few dates of this series have arrows. You could have chosen another date without arrows for your first Seated Lib. dime.

    If you had said, "My first 1854 Seated Dime" I would not have commented on the "With Arrows" as all '54s have arrows.

    That shouldn't be hard to do.

    I kind of like the Seated Lib. coins. They are one of the longest series and at the time all silver coins had essentially the same obverse design (except the 3 cent silver).

    As Hobo said, I also like the Seated Dimes.
    there are many LOW mintage dates, and they are still fairly cheap.

    Looks like a strong F-20, maybe a F-25?
