Possible missing clad

    Both photos look grayish so can't really tell. Try taking another pic using more light. Do you have a scale?

    It doesn't look like it is missing a clad layer. @paddyman98 collects errors, and he has some he can show you for comparison.

    I clicked the link to the other thread. It talked of an area of the planchet not getting any or only some of the clad layer during rolling. If a planchet is stamped from that area, will it weigh the same and have the ms luster as a normal coin?

    A Missing clad layer is an interesting mint error. What you need to know is that it occurs mostly on just one side of a clad coin.
    Here are examples from my collection -
    607580-1.jpg 004.jpg 2593338-001.JPG 3019836-003.JPG
    The other side of each coin shown looks absolutely normal.

    So what you have is environmental toning to both sides of the clad layer.
