The D was probably struck at one time. The thickness of the date could be from circulation wear after almost 60 years. The key coin of these 4 (1960 LD, 1960-D LD, 1960 SD, 1960-D SD) Is the plain, 1960 small date Philly. There is a bizarre 1960-D small date over large date, but that's very rare. I've been looking my whole life (circulation) and have never gotten a 1960 Philly small date.
