Other than looking at the U of United states for the difference you can just look at all of the letter "O"s on the reverse. On the 2008 all "O"s appear perfectly circular and on the 2007 variety the "O"s are elipitical.

I believe I also see other subtle differences in fonts of the number "1" the letter "F" which are difficult to tell as the letters "U" and the "O" is are standouts.

There are several obvious differences. On the 2007 the T's are almost as wide as they are tall, on the 2008 they are much narrower. The S's are very different. On the R's the right leg of the 2007 is slender and curved, on the 2008 it is straight and blocky. The hyphen between silver and one o the 2007 is straight with a serif on either end, on the 2008 the entire hyphen is curved like ~. And in the row of three stars above the eagle on the 2007 they are well spaced while on the 2008's they are almost touching.

Would you sugests someone get a 2006 reverse proof 69 or one of these?

Both are selling for about the same price.

I'm gonna check UK ebay, something like this wont be known over here.

    At least not just yet.

The 'O' tip helps when looking at smaller images on ebay.
