My currency set arrived with the dollar bill completely crooked in it's holder. Another quality product from the US MINT. This is the Fifth time I have had a problem with the quality of their products. Make's my think maybe I should start purchasing their products on the secondary market if their not fake! (Smiles)! I am waiting for a response from them now.

Both of the sets that I ordered had the same problem. Look forward to hearing their response.

Pretty much everyone's came like yours, you aren't alone. Mine was like that too. You can return it but it's on a backorder now, I think so they can fix them before sending them out again.

Anyways I fixed my own it's sealed with a white double stick foam tape, not glue. Just have to be careful and take your time to not bend anything and lift up the cardboard retangular frame. Once there, the clear plastic open easily.

The dollar bill is so far out of alignment that it is outside of the clear plastic and stuck in the white foam tape. I slowly rolled a toothpick under it to release it from the tape and didn't bent it or crease it or anything, put it together the right way carefully and pressed the cardboard frame back down again to reseal it.

I don't blame you to not want to do it yourself though, it's up to you. I just didn't want to deal with the return and then waiting on the backorder line so started messing with it and saw how easy it would be to do it myself. It just took a couple minutes. In the end I bought it for the coin anyways, that was my POV so figured why not, I might care more about the dollar bill if it was a star note or a repeater or something... here's the finished product. I wouldn't do it more than once or twice tops, that tape adhesive can't last forever. Up to you whatever you do of course just putting it out there for informational purposes. 20190808_020635-ccfopt.jpg 20190808_020611-ccfopt.jpg

The US Mint told Meow that they would email a postage paid return label in a few days. But....…….that was like 4 days ago...….. Meow will call them again soon, to say what the heck again.

There is an extensive article about the set in today's online version of Coin World.

Does all of the paper dollar appear in the plastic? If it does, don't sweat the small stuff. Kripes you guys are picky.......

I hope yours aren't either but I've only heard from 1 person out of at least 20 that said theirs had no issue and I have no evidence of that being true from them they didn't show me a picture or anything of it. Lol
