Oh, oops. Sorry about that, didn't quite catch what you meant. Those are just bad pics, the coin is a nice lustrous Zinc cent. That's just bad lighting. I'll try to get nicer pics, these are tough to photograph. Phoenix
This one is closer, but it's not quite as shiney in hand. I'm about 95% sure it isn't reprocessed, these are just bad pics: Phoenix
Oh, and btw, does anyone know the Bid/Ask for a 24-S Lincoln in XF-45, and then in AU-50? I'm just curious on it. Phoenix
Thanks man! Well, I'm gonna take the chance with it. I am probably overpaying a bit, but I don't want to pass it up, lol. Might turn out to be a 50, then I think I'm right on. See what I can do. Let y'all know how it turns out. :kewl: Phoenix
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250240398927&ssPageName=STRK:MEBI:IT&ih=015 Watch how high this one MIGHT go, they have been going multiples of sheet these days. I bid at MS-60 price and fully expect to get passed up....if not, COOL !!! Edit: LOL, I see I'm not the only CT'er bidding on this one, lol, who would have guessed
Thanks Jack. Yea im kind of keen on that 31 as well, notice its the first one that was posted. Anyhow, I started taking some pics of most of the coins in my album but theres still quite a few that i need better pics of before posting. Im still trying to master the new camera. I tried 4 different cameras and Im getting the best results with this one. A Cannon A560. But Im still having problems with my reverse pics. I just cant capture the details I need to.
I did not say that I disliked any. However, and I have said this before, 1916, 1917 and probably through the late teens are my favorite. They have so much more detail than any other years.
Bidding or selling? When I see good Lincolns, I post them no matter who the seller is, there are plenty of collectors to go around. On this AU 24-S, my Ebay bid of CDN-60 "ask" won't win this coin, if it does, it's well worth it. Compete away !!!:smile
