possible 1942-s ddo

    Most of it looks like the variety one but the only part that doesn't match up from what I see is the mint mark. Any guesses? Also some die cracks on the shoulder and across the lapel S20190808_0006.jpg S20190808_0007.jpg S20190808_0008.jpg S20190808_0009.jpg S20190808_0010.jpg

    I can say the doubling in my opinion is die deterioration, there is also a die crack like you said and it looks like lamination west of the ear but I could be wrong. Nice looking coin on the obverse lets see the reverse.

    Could have been the promotion where dealers were putting nice coins into circulation.

    If so I got incredibly lucky because I also got and amazing 39-S, 40-S 41-S, 44-S, 45-S, 47-D, 55-S, 56, and 58-D at the same time
