    On the reverse the eagle has a scar lining running from the lower end of the neck to the lower part of it's jaw. Similar to the photos of an wounded eagle. Ive throughly viewed this coin from multiple angles taking many different photos and lighting possitions. I don't see any coating or chips to say it was damaged . It seems like this could be a possible error not damage. All opinions are welcomed. Please let me know watching you think. Thank You P.s.     It looks like there is some displaced metal around the mark. That's an indication that the coin suffered a hit and was damaged

    @Xile, there's a fair amount of circulation wear on that coin. The eagle's neck just got nicked somewhere along the way. Spend it.

    Welcome to the neighborhood @Xile !

    If you look closely at the southernmost side of the anomaly, you can see the coin metal that was displaced when it took the hit. It's PMD!
