Found this 1904 S Morgan in a pawn shop for $39 today. I think it is a Key date. Please give grade opinions. And any other comments. Thank you.

It doesn't look real to me.

By these photos it doesn’t appear genuine.

Very mushy and lacks details. There are tooling marks all over the coin and especially near the date at the point of the bust. I also don’t like the reeds. The letters and stars also seem to fall into the fields.

What does the coin weigh and is it magnetic? The pawn shop shouldn’t be selling coins of this nature if they can not verify they are authentic.

That's 20% underweight. They're crooked, or they have no idea what they're doing, or both. Take it back and ask them whether they'd rather give a full refund or give a statement to law enforcement.

Not a laughing matter. Take the coin back. If selling a counterfeit is put in their face (which it should); I’m sure getting your money back won’t be a problem.

Edit - @-jeffB beat me to it and said it better.

I'm with the others. Take it back and don't take "No!" for an answer.
