I have a 1983-D quarter and the last A in America has no hole in the middle...so it makes it look like an arrow...

Die chip or circulation damage. Nothing major.

Can someone please tell me why this 1964 penny looks like this...it has no definition or why this 1995 penny looks colorful

The 1964 cent exhibits normal wear and tear for it's age. The 1995 cent's copper coating has reacted with it's environment and tarnished. It's what we term "toning".

The ones I just sent you..on the last one is a mystery because it doesn't have the two dates on the bottom...but have some kind of date on the opposite side...it looks like it's been underwater for years...

Please start a new thread. What you have done is called hijacking a thread. It's easy to start a new one.

Trella, doing so allows others to continue to post on the original subject without you and the original poster and themselves becoming confused on who is saying what to whom. Most coin collectors are picky for accuracy. welcome to forum, Jim

New collectors I agree, do need to take the time and develop the Patience to understand the differences between PMD and a true Mint Error.
But let it also be said that those new to C T with obvious legitimate coin/currency questions need not have their questions answered by belittlement, criticism, or add to feel low self esteem because of their little knowledge or yet experience that is sure to come if given positive reinforcement!
We (All) make mistakes, however let’s lead those that will in all likelihood follow our lead eventually
in a positive, non criticism style teaching, both when giving advice or asking questions of them ourselves!
It surely would cause suffering not only this site but all Coin Collectors in general to ever turn off a “Newbie” by not letting him/her follow their numismatic dreams!

As many others have said it's PMD or post Mint damage. Only worth face value.
