Damaged 46 or 41

    Is this penny a damaged 1946 or a damaged 1941? 46 or 41.jpg

    Looks like 1941. The one took a hit and moved.
    On the 1946 that left line is more curved, be difficult for a hit to straighten it like that. Also at the very top of the last digit is not as wide and blunt on a 1946.

    That's what I was thinking. But, if it is a one, could it have become longer in the damage process? It does seem longer.

    If it was a "6", it would look like a blob at the bottom.

    It was damaged by the fingers of a coin rolling machine

    +1 for "41, got a little bit of improperly mix alloy there too.
