Here's another one I bought in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Quarter size and rather thick aluminum.

 

While I was out today I seen another transportation token I had to get. In this example it's an Augusta 1 school fare from the Augusta coach company.

A friend just came back from holiday in Vietnam and brought me a couple of these game tokens.

 

CoinWorld podcast #019 has a segment about Hobo nickels. it's pretty good.

 

I don't know what kind of a person would use such a token.
