It's hard to ignore someone who is being silly...continously. if you talk about coins, you are tollerable, but when you go off on rants about people (yes, people, not other assorted animals) being unfair, it gets very irritating. Please scale it back.
Oops sorry Meow made a autoform mistake. Ya know, type in a letter or two and it fills in the rest. Meow meant to refer to @Autoturf .
What a pisser! US Mint, make a cat spend all their money on your stuff, and this is what you give us?????!!!!!
I returned my 2 sets with the return label provided. I marked the box that said the packaging was unacceptable and explained in the box provided that the currency was not centered in the display window. I also selected the replacement for my return. They better not charge me anything. If they do, I'll dispute the additional charge with my credit card company.
I just got my one set. It's cockeyed too, and glued in that position, it looks like. Good job, U.S. mint!
He couldn't take my teasing and put me on ignore. I sent him a personal message apologizing if I offended him and telling him that the posts weren't meant to offend, only in fun. Didn't get the courtesy of a response but maybe that is because he didn't see my personal message due to the ignore feature. Anyway, he became my 1st and only "ignore". I was pretty tired of the third person rhetoric anyway. Had a girlfriend around high school time that did it. Drove me crazy then too.
He has me on "Ignore" too after I jokingly chastised him for soliciting. He has no sense of humor. I owe him no apology. If anything, he owes me one for his intentionally nasty comment. Chris
All of this is 'great', but it has no purpose other than to publicly denigrate a person here to others. If he has you on ignore, then he is not seeing your remarks. I think it sophomoric to try to continue harassment of someone in his thread. And realize that 'jokingly' chastising someone may not be taken that way and even may be done to hide the fact that it might be a mean remark. Like a passive-aggressive thing.
I used an x-acto knife, went very carefully around the 3 sides that are glued until they were loose. The window is one piece folded at the top, so I just opened it enough to get at the note, pulled it off the "sticky" verrry carefully, removed the glue that was on the note with some lighter fluid (there wasn't that much on the note, but enough to stick it down good), put it back where it should be, pressed everything down again. But that's just me. Most people or kitties probably don't want to mess with it, and I don't blame them, overall, it's better to have the mint replace the bad ones, 'cause it's their fault.
Wow... @DM1 that pretty clearly tags it as a manufacturing defect and a major one... Glue on the note! Why bother with a plastic holder then!
