As yesterday was my four year anniversary on cointalk, it came time to renew my supporter status. It is a small price for such a wonderful resource (plus all the lovely people one meets here...).

And since summer is just starting, I hope to be posting more soon (just bought two coins for my personal collection, and will post them when they arrive)!

Yes I finally did it. I’m a supporter now. But not for the reasons you may think. Not because I learned something every day here on CT. Neither for the fantastic community of collectors of ancient coins. Nor for the generous participation of experts who share their knowledge freely. And not for the pleasant and respectful atmosphere on this forum.... I did it because I was tired of being called a «well known member ». I’m not « well known », except by the members of my family...Almost nobody here knows my real name and what I do in my life...and to be honest, my avatar is not my real pictures ; I’m 5 feet 2, bald, blind of one eye and have only 2 teeth left in my mouth...
But I’m a supporter and proud to be !

P.S. I’m gonna miss those ads at the top of the page so much.......

Thanks to whoever resurrected this thread. Didn't know how to go about it, never looked into it, enjoy the group but never thought about joining, until I tried to have an interesting PM with a fellow overseas and he asked about sending pic via PM. I had been told you can't, and never heard from him again after I mentioned that. Now I've learned in this thread that it's a perk for supporters. If that turns out to be true its a game changer. But even if it's not true, the group deserves support.

 

Just became a supporter of Cointalk. Really enjoy seeing and reading about all these nice coins and being able to present my coins.

I had no idea how to go about it and was also clueless as to why I couldn't post images in a private message.
Maybe now I have upgraded my account I can finally give some coins away in LordM's monthly thing

 

Haven't been around so my supporter status lapsed. I owe a lot to this community so I will support it whenever I can.

The Ancient group here is like finding a real unicorn in that it's a helpful, supportive web forum - a beast I was sure is mythical. Yet, here it is.

Would someone please tell me how to renew my support. I did it when I first joined , never received a message about renewal but would be happy to do so . I cannot seem to find the place to pay it?

YES! I really would like to become a supporter, but even after having read through this thread twice I still have no idea of how actually to do so. Can someone please enlighten me? Peter?
