First, here's an 1830 Bust half, graded by PCGS. GTG in the poll and post your opinion along with the Overton variety. If you have no clue about varieties, please don't ;-) If you select a details grade, please specify why you think it's a problem coin. I'll let the poll open for 7 days.. have fun!
@physics-fan3.14 @C-B-D @Paddy54 @Seattlite86 @Rheingold @okbustchaser @Eduard @Paul M. @Skyman @Randy Abercrombie @chrisild okbustchaser if you go first that's like cheating... you know Busties too well edited to add: I changed the poll, so the usernames are not shown!
Nice and crusty looking. I guessed AU-50. No opinion on variety as yet, as my Overton book is at home and I am not.
I voted AU-53...the "Small 0" variety. Since others have let the cat out of the bag I will say Overton 101.
I went with AU 55 Looks very nice ...maybe an eye appeal bump from 53, but I wouldn't mind it in this case.
Results: 5 of you voted XF45 - too low 6 of you voted AU50 - correct as per PCGS 9 of you voted AU53 - too high, but I’d agree 6 of you voted AU55 - too high, but it shows that it’s very good for the grade assigned And yes, it’s the O-101 variety, which is not really hard to find out. I may cross it over to NGC soon
