    I would agree that in many cases especially with coins worth a lot that you should employ an agent. I use one for coins I cannot "see" on my own and have to rely on pictures on line or in auction cats. Short of attending these auctions that is the best course of action. You may consider attending one of the major shows such as the New York International. Failing that an agent is a good investment. Usually they are dealers that attend a number of auctions. I
