1886-O Morgan Dollar

    So how would you folks grade this rascal? This coin has been in storage now for around 42 years and was placed in the plastic set protector prior to that.

    Well crud, didn't know Photobucket would throw that on there. I'll have to find a better way to post photos. You can also access the back photo there as well.

    Take a photo of both sides with your cell and crop out the background.

    If they're too clean then I'm in trouble because the whole set looks to some degree or another just like it.

    Nice looking set but I believe that they have been cleaned or dipped. Wait for other opinions.

    OK, so it definitely appears that they've been cleaned long ago in the days of "shiny is best". So how do you go about determining the value of cleaned coins? Do you still send them in to be graded?
