Is this actually a DD

This is a 1989 penny but I didnt want to waste peoples time with a false Alarm. If by chance I finally have one, ill post the rest of pics.

Looks like it may be DDD Die Deterioration Doubling

+1, looks like deterioration and not a doubled die.

 

Not if they are blurry like the first picture.

Sorry about that my friend. I didn't think it was too bad for 2 in the morning when the console of the car lol. Here is one of the date and once we get a little more Daylight I can fight a couple better pictures

 

Either DDD like @paddyman98 and @Seattlite86 said or maybe some split plating around the date. Either way, it isn't a true doubled die and not considered an error.

If you haven't already done so, check out Wexler's Doubleddie.com site and click on the "worthless doubling" tab. It has a good explanation and will help you ID them quickly. Nothing worse than spending a lot of time on a coin that has MD or DDD
