2019 Quarter W Mint Mark

So, from what I have read, there is only 10,000,000 of these being printed from West Point this year. First released in April, please let me know what you think.

Congratulations on finding one. My understanding was a two million mintage. Some folks have all the luck!

Two million for each design, x5 is ten million total.

 

They were meant to be found. The mint has dispersed these randomly in large bags of quarters. There has been some excitement around them. I think some folks have auctioned them for 10-20 bucks.

 

You don't hear the phrase "only 10,000,000" very often.

 

Coins are not printed. They are struck/minted.
Paper currency is printed. Remember that.

Oh, I have been eying every coin that comes through my house. I think I should invest in a magnifying glass.

 

Dogs and and cats on CT can easily die of zinc toxicosis if they eat even a few coins. Not sure about horses, gators, pigs, or any of the other animal members here.
