Hi I have found a 1969s penny with close am and off center not in bad shape anyone know the value of this coin pics of it is used as my profile pic thanks doesn't input
To post a detailed photo you click the button "load a file" and then browse until you find the JPG on your computer & click "open". Then, when you are back on the post message page, you can place your cursor where you want the photo & then click "full image". I don't know the value of a close AM 1969-S cent. In fact, I didn't know that there was a variety in 1969-S for close AM.
Here is my favorite error dated 1969-S. Of course, it is an obverse cud error coin. It's the first error coin that I ever found roll hunting as a kid. (The 1969-S DDO would be pretty sweet but I don't own any of those).
I didn't either only double strike but this one is off center and close am also have 1992 d penny with close am seen where one of those is worth around 500 dollars I have a 1968 penny off center looks new well any input will be great
Just a normal cent, the close AM and wide AM designations don't apply to cents minted before 1992. It is either slightly off center or slightly misaligned dies, can't tell without seeing both sides of the coin. It is not off enough to carry any premium either way.
I have a 69 s closed AM I would like to sell I have a cracked pelvis and cracked right hip and a laral tear in the joint I can't work and will part with it How do I post the pictures
Sorry to say your cent sounds like it is worth face value. Close AM or wide AM does not apply to 1969 S.
Did you read any of the previous posts? Close AM does not apply to Cents minted before 1992. You have an absolutely normal Cent. Spend it. Sorry about your injuries. Take care.
