I'm looking for some help interpreting a coin description/value.
    I have a 1947 Spain Peseta KM#775.
They have several (9) variations of the 1947 coin ... What does the (49)..(50)..etc mean after the date?

It indicates the year the coin was actually struck. See the little stars on the reverse ? Look at them very closely with a loupe. You will see a tiny, tiny number inside each one - those tiny numbers correspond to the date the coin was minted.

The practice of having the actual year of striking in the stars on Spanish coins first began in 1868.It was abandoned in 1982 after the issue of the World Cup Football commemoratives (which circulated,I must add!) as being too cumbersome.
The actual year of issue began to be applied from 1983,albeit,without the stars.
