I cannot do anything about that. But it's the only spot. I look at die deterioration. It really didnt look like it to me. But you guys have been doing this longer than I. I'm really trying hard here to find at least one thing. Lol
I've always thought PSD is more precise a term than PMD. After all, if it rolls out of the coining chamber and a mint forklift rolls over it, it can't be PMD but it's not an error either...
Not PMD, I don't think Die deterioration either. I think it's very common with Zincolns that the extremely thin copper layer gets shifted and torn a bit like yours, either upon strike or ejection. Didn't happen with the pre 82s.
No I have over 5250lbs of coinage now and add more everyday. I find coins every day at the car wash. At least 2.00 a day no less.

USB microscopes are the reason newbies think they have found major errors and varietys. All that is needed is a five to 10x loupe. Anything more powerful is too much. You will see things that are not important.
