I went to Kroger today and as always I hit the coinstar when I first walk in and I found a few cool things today. I'll post the Homestead quarter first. It has the "snow on the roof" die chip and appears to have a die chip on the window also. These pics suck and I know and im only posting the reverse because there's nothing to see on the obv and other than the fact it's the first I have found there is nothing spectacular to show other than its a coinstar find lol. Overall I found a 1987 Loonie, what I believe is a .22 caliber bullet, one ugly ring, a 1947 wheat and $1.55 face value. The Loonie bullet and ring was in a jar on top full of nasty candy the rest was in the reject tube. roof1.jpg roof2.jpg roof3.jpg roof4.jpg

Nice finds. Is the bullet a hollow point? I can't see the tip. Heck of a thing to leave lying around.

Looks like a normal LR .22

I have a Colt revolver that fires those.

Do they make hollow points for .22 Long? I recall that they do for the .22 Magnum, but I was just a kid when I had a Browning semi-auto rifle that fired the LR & Mag.

They did when I was a lot younger. Not sure about today.

    It's a normal .22 shell not a hollow point.
