Popes visit to the USA

Well since Pope Benedict has stopped by the U.S. for a visit I thought of posting this 1000 lira coin of Pope Paul. A friend from work that went to the Vatican gave this coin to me. If anyone else has a coin or note depicting some religious individual, symbol or what ever please feel free to post.

Turns out I didn't have to go find it. I already had it on photobucket.

My mom's cousin is a preist, and I think he got this while visiting the Vatican. He knows I collect and gave it to me a couple years ago.

 

I have several coins from Vatican (euro sets, and liras before the euros). They are quite known and valuable. Pics are also easy to find.

But I have some other non expensive ones about this topic. Those are some circulation coins from Democratic Republic of Congo conmemorating Pope Jean Paul Visit in 2004:
