1982-P 5C Split Serif DDR?

    I see what appears to be a split serif on the first S in STATES, although the die is clearly worn and has seen a good bit of PMD. Opinions? IMG_4300.JPG IMG_4301.JPG IMG_4302.JPG IMG_4303.JPG

    A ding rather than a split IMHO.

    Thanks guys. I think for sure the top serif is a ding, but can't tell the bottom. I think that "split" may also be just a ding.
