This penny is obviously pretty beat up but it looks to have a 0 stamped behind the 1. Anyone agree or have another idea what it is?
Zinc rot has eaten through the 1 and popped the plating blister under it. Looks like the 1 also took a small hit from that large gouge. See the upward motion.
