It's a video on a local news station. I'm not seeing where anything there is fake news. If I'm wrong, correct me and point it out however you should be concerned about throwing around that fake news garbage.

An opinion is if I would say @Autoturf , that's a lot of lincoln cents and you tell me, no it's not, Thats a small amount of cents. That's an opinion. I want to know what part you think is fake news.

Just a local news story about the 1943 copper cent that was found by a student in the school cafeteria. Fairly factual but this story was used to promote the coin show this weekend as this coin was on display. If the show was closer I would have attended just to see this coin.

To, give people the indication that they might have a copper 1943 is fake news, as a youtube video that everyone here agrees leads people in the wrong direction of collecting, videos like that convince people who don't know. that there is a gold mine in their change jar.

I watched it for the 5th time and don't see anything that is misleading. It tells how the coin was found, where it was found, and the worth today. They featured this in the factual news story to promote the show. They didn't say that you could possibly find this in your change. Work on advancing the hobby instead of your fascination of falsely stating fake news.

It rather promotes a little excitement into the hobby which is what we need!

I don't need that, and look I did not start anything, I don't need to work on anything if you cant take a joke, its not me, its a public forum, people like you look to argue over nothing, Im not going to sweat the small stuff.

You may not need that as you seem to be someone who has been in the hobby a while. I would encourage you to not sweat the small stuff. I will let you know that there is a huge problem in the world where people argue something to be their opinion.............
and then have people follow them blindly into that view when in all actuality what they are portraying as fake news is in fact true. It's not a joke. I hope you see that. I am not arguing over nothing.
