Check this coin out guys, found it during my recent 100$ hunt. NEED HELP identifying is it missing clad?
It looks to me like your quarter has environmental discoloration. Were it missing clad, weight would be less than normal. Quarter weight missing one clad layer = 4.71 g +/- 0.347 g; missing two clad layers = 3.75 g +/- .467 g.
Welcome to the neighborhood @APPocketChange ! One sure giveaway that your coin is not missing a clad layer is the fact that all of the high points are white from the nickel content. The high points would have to be copper. Here is my uncirculated specimen of a Kennedy half dollar which I am posting because @Cheech9712 loves to see it. Chris
