Anyone seen this before

    Can we have a clear, close-up photo of both sides? Often these have been acid-treated and thereby reduced in size. Not saying this is what yours is, just what it might turn out to be.

    Definitely Acid dipped. I see mushiness to the lettering and it's the only way it could get that thin.

    Since the acid attacks the coin from all three dimensions , including the details of the coin. The mushiness that Paddy mentions is due to small amounts of convection of the fluid around the letters and devices. IMO, Jim

    There is a slight upset rim showing.
    My vote is also shrunken in acid.
    It might have even been ground before the soak.

    If left in acid long enough it will reduce to 0.0g .
