From Meow's experience, shiny pennies give the illusion of doubling often. Because the shiny clear fields reflect devices back to you. If a doubling disappears when you change the angle of the light, that is a good indicator it is an reflected illusion. Meow has a small LED light that can aid in showing one different light angles. Meow puts in paw and shines it around, and dispels most illusions.

Looks like a misaligned die with machine doubling. Wait for more opinions...

Rules of thumb are not 100% reliable, but helpful when there is no ruler.
If the doubling is in line with the Radius of a coin (center to edge) it is usually Machine Doubling. Hub Doubling usually shows up in a circumference direction.
Always get second opinion when in doubt, and when you are sure too.
When it comes to Doubling it is good to be double sure.
    Nice coin, Sirius.

If you look at the "liberty" photo there is a notch in the upper left of each letter. I read somewhere that was a sign of doubling. Thanks for looking.

Might be the first coin I send to Wexler. Thanks for checking it out.

Don't get me wrong, I think your coin has machine doubling due to it being flat and shelf-like and inline with the radius. Machine doubling makes designs smaller. Your coin is worth one cent. IMO
