I have to say this is my least favourite sort of coin but it was at an auction today and seemed cheap enough, so I bought it with this thread in mind:

Zambia 1000 Kwacha from 2000, celebrating the Queen Mother's 100th birthday.

 

A tear shaped tenga from The Khanate of Khoqand dated AH1279 (1862)

 

Straits Settlements 1/2 Cent, 1932

 

1919 British India 2 annas

 

Canada 5 "V" cents, 1943

 

1805 VOC Java 1 stuiver bonk

 

Still doing 'not round' coins, 1920 British India 4 annas

 

One of my other Swedish "not round" coins.

1788 C VOC 1 stuiver dump, a bit out of round...

I just got this coin today, I always wanted one of these. I didn't know how small these silver coins were, only about 9 x 15 mm. 19th century Japan, end of the Shongunate period.

Just going through my items that arrived this week. Purchased this Bu to go along with my bean that arrived recently.

 

This one is kind of round, pod duang "bullet money", AR, Siam

 

Alright, you guys got me into these weird 19th century Japanese coins, had to get another one. A copper 100 mon coin. I didn't notice until I read online somewhere that the mint marks were on the edges of these cast coins.
